About Me

I'm a senior studying Computer Science and Cognitive Science at UCSC. I've worked in Web Development, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning. I'm currently working on a variety of Data Analysis projects! I am currently seeking full-time positions that start after Spring 2025.   • This project helps improve the accuracy of business names in Overture Maps by comparing Overture data with user-provided datasets. It uses heuristics and automated analysis to resolve conflicts between different data sources, ensuring more reliable map information.

    Features:Streamlit app for interactive data uploads and comparisons, GPT-3.5 Turbo via DSPy for intelligent conflict resolution, and automatic detection of mismatches in names, locations, and attributes.

  • Analyzed SWAN (Study of Women Across the Nation) data to identify factors linked to inadequate health care access among midlife women in the U.S., using statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover key demographic and socioeconomic predictors.

    Features: Data Cleaning, Feature Encoding, Principal Component Analysis, Decision Trees, and Chi-Square Hypothesis Testing to identify significant predictors.

  • Led a team in developing an Angular app to inform US immigrants of their rights.

    Features: Map page with Google Maps API to view nearby resources, Information translated into Spanish and Arabic.

  • Investigates how spending differs between privately-run and state-run prisons, using publicly available datasets to compare expenditures, population trends, and resource allocation. Uncovered financial patterns and disparities that may impact prison operations and inmate outcomes.

    Features: Data preprocessing pipeline (csv parsing) for inconsistent public records, Exploratory Data Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Binomial/Multinomial Regression

  • Leveraged a pool thread design to create a highly efficient HTTP server for any number of threads in C.

    Features: Custom Linked List ADT to handle file access across multiple threads, Custom Queue ADT to order requests, Custom Reader-Writer Lock ADT using mutexes to lock file access
