Issue #2793 is caused by there being outstanding events in the default event queue after a buffer swap on the
nvidia-driver-580-open driver.This PR dispatches those events, and re-reads from the file descriptor with no wait if an event has been received.
The issue #2793 is similar to #1911 and
glfwWait*will likely not work even with this fix. For that the PR #2792 needs to be merged.
