    Thanks for reporting this and sharing the error messages!

    This happens during archive extraction, before MoneyPrinterTurbo starts. The Unknown method errors on the four ARM64 executable files strongly suggest that the extraction tool does not support a compression filter used in the archive. We still need your extraction tool and version to confirm the cause; this does not mean you need an ARM computer or a different Python version.

    Please try these steps:

    1. Install the latest stable 7-Zip from the official download page: https://www.7-zip.org/download.html . For a typical Intel/AMD Windows 11 PC, choose the 64-bit x64 installer; choose ARM64 only if your Windows device uses an ARM processor.
    2. Open 7-Zip File Manager directly from the Start menu. Navigate to the downloaded MoneyPrinterTurbo-Portable-Windows-1.3.7.7z, select it, and click Test in the toolbar. This ensures the updated 7-Zip is being used instead of another application associated with .7z files.
    3. If the test reports Everything is Ok, click Extract and choose a new, empty directory, for example C:\MPT-1.3.7-fresh\. Wait until extraction finishes without errors. Do not mix these files with the previously incomplete extraction.
    4. Open the newly extracted folder and launch the package from there using its included startup script. There is no need to reinstall Python for this extraction error.
    5. If the latest 7-Zip reports CRC/data errors or an unexpected end of archive, download the .7z asset again from the official release page, then repeat Test and Extract: https://github.com/harry0703/MoneyPrinterTurbo/releases/tag/v1.3.7 . Choose the portable Windows .7z under Assets, not a source-code archive.

    If it still fails, please reply with:

    • The name and version of the extraction tool you originally used.
    • The installed 7-Zip version, shown under Help → About 7-Zip.
    • A screenshot or copied text of the complete Test result and extraction error.
    • The download source and archive size in bytes, available from the archive file’s Properties.

    Please let us know whether extracting with the latest 7-Zip resolves it. We will keep this issue open while you check. Thank you!

    Looks like there's an "Unknown method" error with several .exe files in the 7z archive. I'd check if the archive is corrupted or if there's an issue with the extraction tool.

    @chenhz01

    Your read is the right one: 'Unknown method' on the four ARM64 helpers (t64-arm.exe, w64-arm.exe, cli-arm64.exe, gui-arm64.exe) means the extracting tool doesn't understand a compression filter in the archive — not a corrupt download. The fix is the latest 7-Zip (which added those methods), or a re-pack with a broadly-compatible method.

    A diagnostic that parses 7z l -slt and lists each Method= would let users self-confirm their extractor supports the archive before re-downloading.

    # subprocess 7z l -slt archive.7z -> findall('Method = (.+)')

    Happy to draft the full probe if useful.
