- Node.js (v14 or higher)
- PostgreSQL (v12 or higher) - Download here
Note: Make sure PostgreSQL is installed and running on your machine before proceeding.

Install Dependencies
npm install

Configure Environment
Create a
.envfile in the root directory:touch .env
Then add the following configuration to the
.envfile:DB_USER=postgres DB_HOST=localhost DB_NAME=eaf_climate_hub DB_PASSWORD=your_password_here DB_PORT=5432 PORT=3000
Replace
your_password_herewith your PostgreSQL password. -
Setup Database Schema
npm run setup-db
This will automatically create the database and all required tables.

Seed Data
npm run seed

Start Server
npm start
