Description
Currently, we only "know" that a site is blocked because it's not displayed in the search results. However, since uBlacklist is not a "hard" blocking tool like a DNS blocker or an ad blocker, we can still end up on blocked sites via other means.
I'd like the option to have a banner displayed on a site that is blocked (or allowed, which can means it is safe/recommended) by a subscribed list or personal filters. Crude mockup below.
This feature request might be a bit out of scope, but I believe it still fits with the goal and use of the extension. Blocklists can be big and we're actually ignorant of their content because they're precisely made to help us forget that something even exists. If I don't want to see a site pop up in a search, I usually don't want to visit it either.
An alternative solution is to use an adblocker like uBlock Origin with the
$documentfilter but it only displays once before accessing a blocked page and necessitates rewriting/redistributing the filter list.Checklist
