WARNING:
The embedded firmware 1.6.3 had a critical bug related to the timing of the CS pin on the flash chip. Depending on device tolerances, this bug can cause future firmware updates to fail. If you already updated to 1.6.3 and are affected by this bug you can attempt to update by cooling or heating the LibreVNA before/during the update.
If that fails as well you may need to flash the new firmware with a programmer. Follow these instructions.

- Updating from 1.4.0 to 1.5.0-alpha.2:
- Update the LibreVNA firmware first, using the v1.4.0 LibreVNA-GUI
- Switch to v1.5.0-alpha.2 LibreVNA-GUI afterwards
- Downgrading from 1.5.0-alpha.2 to 1.4.0:
- Downgrade the LibreVNA firmware first, using the v1.5.0-alpha.2 LibreVNA-GUI
- Switch to v1.4.0 LibreVNA-GUI afterwards
