• 12 hand-engineered AST rules for deterministic transformations
• CodeBERT semantic detection for context-aware anti-pattern recognition
• Gemini 2.5 Flash for AI-powered code rewriting
• Statistical benchmarking, safety validation, and confidence scoring

The system detects → transforms → benchmarks → validates → explains. AI enhances the pipeline — it never replaces the engineering core.
