API reference (high level)

  • createDetector(options): returns a client with detect, detectAsync, getSummary, and reset methods using presets (web, ssr, native, test).
  • detect, detectAsync: one-off detection functions with granular options.
  • configureCache: provide a custom cache adapter and TTL for cross-runtime reuse.
  • Observability hooks: onDetectStart, onDetectSuccess, onDetectError emit structured events.
  • Overrides: inject clientHintsData, userAgent, and partial platform/framework/capability results for deterministic SSR or privacy-first flows.
