Dictation feature on macOS does not work in kitty #3732

Describe the bug

Due to a temporary vitamin deficiency, I am forced to type as less as possible. The Dictation feature on macOS helps a lot. However, in kitty, Dictation simply refuses to launch.

I have verified that Dictation works in the stock Terminal and iTerm apps (which is why I filed this as a bug instead of a feature request).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. On kitty, invoke the Dictation shortcut. The dictation pop-up fails to appear, playing a failure beep instead.

Could this be because of openGL?
