[hints] paste path without line numbers into terminal #3931

I'm having a bit of trouble getting kitty to paste a path without the lineumber part. Let's say I did this in a kitty terminal running bash:

$ echo ./.local/share/example.txt:1:2

then the regular path hint

map ctrl+f kitten hints --type path --program -

will paste ./.local/share/example.txt:1:2to the current terminal. I want it to paste just ./.local/share/example.txtwithout the 1:2 at the end.

I tried this mapping:

map ctrl+f kitten hints --type linenum --linenum-action self --program - {path}

Which does almost what I want, but not quite: i.e. the file path appears on the terminal, but also executes the line right away.

So, how do I past just the path without everything after the first colon? Maybe a new --linenum-action none or paste is needed?
