Smart Restaurant Management System

1. Introduction & Overview

The Challenge

Traditional restaurant management systems face several critical pain points:

Data Flow

  1. Order Placement: Mobile App → API Gateway → Order Service (w/ Cassandra persistence)
  2. Kitchen Workflow: Order Service → Kafka → Kitchen Display System
  3. Auto-Inventory: Kafka triggers stock level checks → Replenishment API calls
  4. AI Monitoring: CV analyzes prepared dishes → Feedback to Order Service
