Expected Behavior
Browser should detect itself as the default browser and no longer ask to be set as default.
Current Behavior
Browser asks to be set as the default browser but can't/won't register itself as such.
For some reason, this only happens on LXQt.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
- Download Github Desktop from Flathub (
io.github.shiftey.Desktop) on a fresh LXQt install
flatpak run io.github.shiftey.Desktop- Press "Sign In to GitHub.com"
- See the issue.
Context
In my case, this causes issues with some apps, such as Github Desktop (flatpak)/Desktop Plus (Github Desktop fork) not being able to log in, unable to bring up a browser in the first place and getting stuck here:
I could press "Skip this step" and manually input my display name/email but apparently that provides less to no proper functionality in the app. (and I'm also not well-versed in CLI git)
