Maintainers

Current State

LibreFang is in an early transition from a fork to an independent community project. Until a broader maintainer group is published here, repository admins are acting as the temporary maintainer set.

Maintainer Responsibilities

  • Review pull requests in a timely way.
  • Preserve attribution when accepting or adapting community work.
  • Keep release notes and governance documents accurate.
  • Triage security and regression reports quickly.

AI-assisted maintainers can invoke role-specific prompts under .claude/prompts/ (pr-maintainer, release-maintainer, ghsa-maintainer) — each prompt is a self-contained checklist for the matching responsibility. See AGENTS.md → Maintainer prompts.

Adding Maintainers

New maintainers should have a record of constructive reviews, merged contributions, and reliable follow-through on user-facing issues. Additions should be proposed in a pull request that updates this file.
