Diagnosis: this is an infrastructure flake on the runner's link step, not a code defect in #6316.
All four failed jobs died at the same point — the linker, not a compile error or a test assertion:
collect2: fatal error: ld terminated with signal 7 [Bus error], core dumpedA
SIGBUSinldwhile linking is a runner-side memory/mmap failure, not a source problem. Supporting evidence:Test / Unit (lib+bin)(small binaries) passed on the same commit; only theBuild testsstep — which links the large integration-test binaries — bus-errored.- fix(runtime): block separator-less secret env names from WASM guests #6316 only changed
crates/librefang-runtime/src/host_functions.rsandCHANGELOG.md; nothing in that diff affects linking. - The three dashboard/channels PRs that branched off this commit (feat(dashboard/agents): allow a custom model id when editing an agent (#6318) #6327, feat(dashboard/workflows): surface run params, errors, and one-click re-run (#6292) #6324, fix(channels): describe inbound images on the debounced channel path (#6321) #6323) ran the full 4-way Ubuntu shard matrix green, so the tree on top of fix(runtime): block separator-less secret env names from WASM guests #6316 compiles and tests cleanly.
mainhas since advanced past3ebec2a4— #6327, #6324, and #6323 merged — so the forward-looking signal is now the CI run on the newHEAD, which is in progress. Leaving this open until that run confirms green; if the flake recurs it'll be visible there rather than on the superseded commit.
