Hi, I’m Lu Li (李璐).

I am currently a PhD student at Mila - Quebec AI Institute and University of Montreal.

I’m interested in reinforcement learning and deep learning.

I approach deep learning and reinforcement learning as empirical sciences. Rather than simply chasing State-of-the-Art results, my focus is on rigorously understanding how underlying methods work—and crucially, why and when they fail.
