One other place we can consider adding a link is right under the README title, as a linked badge.

No broken URLs I'm aware of. I'm also fine with leaving the report template as it is. Most likely it will only be used as a reference and existing blog posts will work as additional examples. Now I remember it was more urgent to have a template in previous years because we didn't have existing reports to serve as examples.
