Could you please send an email to the NIC to get their confirmation? (This looks good to me but it might still break some sites and then they need to know what happened.) |
i cannot find an email on their NIC page, only a phone number and postal adress. i tried to call them, but was out of hours. |
looking on IANA's website i found their email (https://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/sh.html) i have contacted them |
|
Please ask them to comment here to confirm! |
I don't think they will reply, I run my own email server so I can see that it took 3 attempts for it to send (the others were time-outs). I know name.com manages .sh .ac and .io so i will contact them |

checking with Identity Digital on this |
Leave this with me I have been in touch with registry |
|
this is the same with .io and .ac but .io has 0 indexed domains with these, and .ac has only 1, so it would be quite pointless to fix these as well. |
Sorry, I don't understand, can you rephrase? |
|
Please, leave this with me I am in touch with the ac/sh/io registry operator to confirm or decline this pull request |
.io’s got zero indexed domains under .nom.io and .co.io and .ac only has one, under .co.ac , so fixing these entries would honestly be pointless |
@simon-friedberger let me rephrase, I am asking the volunteers here to not merge this until I hear back from the registry to confirm this, and that the .IO and .AC are also operated by the same group, ICB.CO.UK who are owned by Identity Digital. I have questions in to their representative of the Registry Stakeholder group, who are reviewing this internally to get an answer on the .AC, .IO and .SH listings in the #ICANN section |

any update? |
on NIC.SH you can see that .co.sh and .nom.sh are offered as registrable domains (same as .com.sh, .org.sh, etc).
so i added .co.sh and .nom.sh under the SH section so the PSL matches what the registry actually allows.
i hope this was correct formatting
