I am trying to build a static FrankenPHP binary using their official Docker setup on Windows 10 with WSL 2 (Ubuntu). The build process, which uses docker buildx bake, fails at a step that downloads the static-php-cli (spc) binary.
Troubleshooting Steps I've Taken: Direct curl in WSL: I ran the exact same curl command directly in my WSL terminal (outside of Docker), and it failed with the identical curl: (56) error. I temporarily disabled my Windows Defender Firewall for both private and public networks, but the error persisted in WSL. and then access via browser, i got this Is there a known network configuration issue (e.g., MTU size), a deeper firewall rule, or a WSL networking-specific setting I might be missing that is causing these connections to be prematurely terminated? Any help or insight into the root cause of this WSL network behavior would be greatly appreciated. |

considering you are seeing NXDOMAIN error, that means the domain doesn't exist. I do see the domain: Check your DNS provider to make sure the domain isn't being blocked. |

Oh you're using spc-alpine-docker. I have not tried with that. Use bin/spc instead. |

That appears when the php version used to run bin/spc is 8.3 instead of 8.4. |
