Adding QR-Guru as a privacy-respecting Link Shortener alternative. QR-Guru is hosted exclusively in Germany with no replicas in third countries. IP addresses are never stored in plaintext; instead they are converted into salted SHA-256 hashes with daily salt rotation. No tracking cookies, no canvas or WebGL fingerprinting, no third-party scripts. Geolocation is limited to country level via a local MaxMind database (no API calls). An Article 28 GDPR Data Processing Agreement is available on every plan, including the free tier.
