It's not that simple ... these “instant answers” come from engines like ddg ... sometimes ddg has a text (generated by an AI) ... but sometimes ddg only has an excerpt from wikipedia ... and for wikipedia we already have the infobox, whose content we get directly from wikipedia ourselves. DDG was just an example, other engines also provide “instant answers” ... we would have to modfy all these engines and try to recognize wikipedia excerpts in order not to add them to the answer box. But I agree with you, this duplication bothers me too. |

Probably not the place to ask but I'm here, but anyway to enable user.css, without kinda forking base.html? |

Don't modify these files manually .. these files are updated regularly with the following releases .. and then your instance is broken. |

That's the underlying reason why I'm asking if there's a way to enable user.css without modifying base.html. Probably should be enabled by default or in settings.yaml. Otherwise you setup a script to notifiy when base.html is tweaked. Last time was 3 months ago. Not a big ask to add a line everytime it updates. Should probably be doing manual updates anyways for security reasons. |
Uh oh!

Hello
Is it possible to disable top block result on results page ?
I find that this block is duplicating with the Infobox block.
Thanks :)
