Description

In src/background.ts, the service worker does not handle the case where Chrome terminates and restarts it due to an extension update during an active meeting. This causes the background worker to lose state and fail to process remaining audio chunks.

Suggested Fix

  • Persist critical state (recording status, tab ID) to chrome.storage.session
  • On service worker startup, restore state from storage
  • Re-attach event listeners after restoration
