WAL should already be set automatically by Entity Framework, but
synchronousalways defaults to 2 (FULL) and must be changed each time a connection is opened.An interceptor is used to make sure this happens, but given that the WAL is flushed each time a connection is closed, it may not have much of an impact.
To help take advantage of this I'm probably going to ensure pooling is enabled.
