Prereqs: Node, NPM, Python, and XCode Command Line Tools (for Mac) or Visual Studio C++ Build Environment (for Windows).

This is the most time I've ever put into a personal project. And I got this far because it was fun! The journey was a self-sustaining flywheel of motivation. I would implement a feature, which made we want to use Captivate more, which made me want to implement more features. But lately my interest in stage lighting is diminishing, as is my interest in contributing. The waves of motivation are smaller and further between.
There were a number of features I was excited to implement next:
- Configurable macro inputs (to allow Captivate to be played live like an instrument, on any scene)
- Captivate web app
- With virtual 3D demo stages to control
- Add an Ableton-like Arrangement view for recording scene transitions and then perfecting automation
