I like typesafety. I built and currently maintain Zod β a TypeScript schema validation library with advanced type inference. I also designed the first proof of concept of tRPC.
I got into open-source while trying to build a medical record software. The startup failed but the technical challenges I encountered have kept me busy for years :) Managing the complexity of an app with over 200 highly-connected tables made the limitations of current validation, API design, and state management tools exceedingly clear.
My open-source projects are tools I built to manage this complexity. I hope they're useful to anyone who wants to build apps in a type-safe, reliable way.

π¨ IMPORTANT β Do not sponsor at this level unless you represent a corporation with a valuation above $10 billion USD. This is very serious. π¨
A number of AI and API developer tools use Zod as an idiomatic way to represent user-defined runtime types, e.g. structured outputs, tool inputs, API contracts, etc. This differs from regular Zod usage; Zod is acting here as an integral component of the dev-facing API surface.
A subset of these tools are SDKs for for-profit offerings built by companies worth >$10B USD. This tier is intended for those companies as a means to support future Zod development. All Diamond tier perks apply, plus priority pro-bono consulting relating to Zod integrations.
