I build and maintain BESS, a free Home Assistant add-on that finds the mathematically optimal charge/discharge schedule for your home battery — using spot prices, solar forecasts, and actual consumption data. Install it, forget it, and watch your energy bill shrink.

The project is entirely self-funded. Feature development is done with Claude Code (AI-assisted), and sponsorships directly offset those API costs — more sponsorship means more features I can afford to build.
