I build small command-line tools, mostly in Rust. They include gixor (a gibo alternative that manages .gitignore files across multiple boilerplate repositories), sibling (gets the next/previous sibling directory name, powering cdnext and cdprev), fauxrest (generates a pseudo-REST API that runs on GitHub Pages and other static hosts), and oinkie (detects software theft by comparing birthmarks extracted from binaries). I do software engineering research at a university, and many of these tools are byproducts of that work.
