Description

This PR adds comprehensive documentation for ZetaChain's omnichain bridge, expanding TON's cross-chain capabilities beyond the existing TON-ETH and TON-BSC bridges.

Changes

  • Added new documentation file: docs/v3/documentation/infra/bridges/zetachain.mdx
  • Follows existing TON docs structure and formatting with Feedback component

What is ZetaChain?

ZetaChain is an omnichain protocol that enables:

  • Native asset bridging between TON and 8+ major blockchains including Bitcoin
  • Cross-chain messaging for building universal applications that span multiple chains
  • Omnichain smart contracts that can read/write state across all connected chains
  • Automatic relay through a decentralized proof-of-stake validator network
  • Flexible gas handling with automatic Toncoin drops for destination transactions

Documentation Includes

  1. Features overview - Key capabilities of ZetaChain for TON developers
  2. Supported chains - Complete list including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Avalanche, and Layer 2s
  3. How it works - Architecture explanation with 4-step process
  4. Omnichain messaging - Beyond simple transfers, enable cross-chain smart contract interactions
  5. Gas handling - Three flexible payment options including automatic gas drops
  6. Gateway contracts - Athens testnet addresses for all supported chains
  7. Getting started - CLI installation and setup instructions
  8. Code examples - TypeScript example for bridging USDC from Ethereum to TON
  9. Security considerations - Best practices and security model explanation

Why This Addition?

  • Expands TON's bridging ecosystem with additional cross-chain options
  • Unique Bitcoin support not available in existing TON bridges
  • Enables building truly universal applications that span TON and other blockchains
  • Provides cross-chain messaging capabilities beyond simple asset transfers
  • Follows TON documentation standards and conventions

Testing

  • Verified all links point to correct ZetaChain documentation
  • Confirmed gateway addresses are accurate for Athens testnet
  • Ensured code examples use correct TypeScript syntax
  • Validated MDX formatting and Feedback component import
