Use leaflet.js to visualise United States Geological Survey's Earthquake Data against Tectonic Plates
Plotting earthquakes worldwide in the past 30 days on a map for analysis.
The goal of the project is to create interactive maps with the location and magnitude of earthquakes during the last 7 days around the world.
Utilizing the USGS API, I designed a website that creates visualization of all earthquakes worldwide for the past 30 days. Data from USGS is updated every 5 minutes.
This project aims to make the analysis of tectonic plates and major earthquakes easier for the user of the apps. It will provide a quick review of where tectonic plates lie in the world and where the major earthquakes occurred.
