By counting the number of people leaving the sauna, simulation is performed to estimate the time spent in the sauna.
Heatmap and contour of Λ(ε, α, κ) = E[X / (1 + X)] − α, where X follows a Gamma(k, θ) distribution. Computed using Gauss–Laguerre quadrature in log-space for numerical stability, with analytic continuation and high-precision special functions via mpmath.
