Utilizing Mapbox and GeoJson data, the project visually displays the live differences between the magnitudes of earthquakes all over the world for the last 7 days. The app also includes different tile layers to depict the relationship between the location and frequency of seismic activity and tectonic plates.
This project uses data provided by usgs.gov to show a visual repersentation of all of the earthquakes on the planet over the last 7 days using Javascript's leaflet and D3 libraries and Mapbox's API.
Using my knowledge of JavaScript, Leaflet.js, geoJSON, and d3.json I created several overlaying maps to create a visually stunning display of the magnitude and location of earthquakes around the world.
