I have been experimenting with LIVE coded music using Strudel and wanted to share a short demo I just finished! This piece explores boom bap percussion paired with RNB style piano harmony, but the part I found most interesting was structuring the code like a real song instead of a looping beat.
StrudelExtension is an experimental browser extension designed to enhance the Strudel REPL—the browser-based live-coding environment for algorithmic music. By injecting custom scripts directly into Strudel pages, the extension augments the editor experience, provides Strudel-aware syntax support, and hooks into REPL evaluation and playback events.
