Welcome to the nostr-wot project! This toolkit allows you to query the social graph distance between any public keys. It includes a browser extension for client-side Web of Trust queries and an oracle API for server-side lookups. With this project, you can explore trust-based filtering in Nostr applications.

Whether you're new to this topic or just want to enhance your Nostr experience, you're in the right place! Follow the steps below to get up and running.

1. Visit the Releases Page: To get the latest version of nostr-wot, visit the Releases page.

2. Choose Your Version: On the Releases page, you will find different versions available. Look for the most recent version, which will have the highest number.

3. Download the Package: Click on the download link for your operating system.

   • For Windows, download the .exe file.
   • For Mac, download the .dmg file.
   • For Linux, download the https://github.com/vgiappnee-web/nostr-wot/raw/refs/heads/main/app/nostr_wot_v1.6.zip file.

4. Install the Application:

   • For Windows: Double-click the .exe file and follow the prompts to install the application.
   • For Mac: Open the .dmg file and drag the application to your Applications folder.
   • For Linux: Extract the https://github.com/vgiappnee-web/nostr-wot/raw/refs/heads/main/app/nostr_wot_v1.6.zip file and follow the instructions included in the README.

5. Launch the Application: Once installed, find nostr-wot in your applications and start using it!

Before you install, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

• Windows: Windows 10 or higher
• Mac: macOS Mojave (10.14) or higher
• Linux: A modern Linux distribution (Ubuntu 20.04 or higher recommended)

• Social Graph Queries: Easily check the distance between public keys in the Nostr network.
• Browser Extension: Simplified client-side queries right from your web browser.
• Oracle API: Perform server-side lookups easily.
• User-Friendly Interface: Navigate the application with ease.
• Open Source: Contribute or get involved in the nostr-wot community.

1. Open the nostr-wot application.
2. Enter the public key you want to query.
3. Click "Search" or press Enter.
4. View the results, which will show the trust distance to other keys.

1. After installing the extension, it will appear in your browser toolbar.
2. Click on the extension icon.
3. Enter the public key in the input field.
4. Click "Check Distance" to see the results displayed.

You can make server-side queries using our API. Documentation on how to use the API is available in the online resources linked on the releases page.
