Hello! My name is Xie Pei (Pei is my first name actually), and I am a CAE simulation engineer in areas of automotive electronics, as well as a developer @Bosch.

• I enjoy bringing cutting edge technologies to improve the state-of-the-art in my responsibility area such as automotive reliability engineering and simulations

• I am a seasoned developer of Ansys-based automated FEM simulations, and internally at Bosch proposed and developed pyact concept to bridge the Ansys ACT components and dedicated simulation workflows

• I am also a seasoned Python developer, developing Bosch internal reliability toolchains and platforms to facilitate knowledge exchange via internal Python packages, Restful APIs, and web applications

• I work on research projects focusing on hybrid modeling, machine learning / AI industrialization for electronic components and automotive ECU designs

• I am a FEM simulation specialist, and >8 years working experiences of automotive reliability simulation & engineering with focus on solder joint reliability of electronic components

• I am a team leader within my organization, managing a team of 10 colleagues in R&D area
• I am also a virtual international organization leader, leading a community specialized at simulation, with 18 team members from China, Germany, Hungary and Portugal

• Besides my coding and data science work at Bosch, I am also a landscape photographer, a Japanese speaking beginner, light Nintendo Switch player, and taking care of 2 cats
