Suggestion: Add Zenodo DOI for citation #56

Thanks for developing and maintaining this software. It’s very useful for writing papers. To make it easier for people to properly cite the software in publications, would you consider archiving the repository on Zenodo? Zenodo integrates directly with GitHub and can automatically generate a DOI for each tagged release. This would provide a stable, citable reference, with versioning, and help ensure you receive academic credit for the software.
