Emacs init files and information

Key bindings are expressed as follows:

C-a is Ctrl + a

M-a is Meta + a

Meta is usually Alt or Opt on PC or Mac keyboards.

M-x shell Open the shell

C-x C-b: List Buffers

C-x 0: Change Window

C-x 1: Change Window

C-x 2: Split Window

C-x 3: Split Window
