season! Delightful comedy, which became the biggest summer hit this year, starring utterly hilarious Marlon Wayans will probably have a full second season unlike the 10 episode first one.

NEW MULTICAM SITCOMS
 CBS has ordered a multicam sitcom HERE COMES THE NEIGHBOUR- HOOD from Big Bang's Jim Reynolds and Aaron Caplan. The story will follow the nicest guy in the Midwest who moves his family into a tough neighbourhood in L.A. where not everyone appreciates his extreme neighbourliness. CBS is also debuting their 9JKL sitcom this Monday! They've also ordered a pilot for Cedric the Entertainer's multicam sitcom LADDER 54 set at a big city firehouse. Stuck at the firehouse for long shifts, a crew of firefighters eat, sleep, live, laugh and fight with each other, their relationships made more intense by the fact that at any moment, they’ll be risking their lives for one another. They’re led by a flawed but devoted captain (Cedric) whose biggest fires are in his personal life.

After her Televnovela sitcom was cancelled it seems Eva Longoria is returning to the world of television comedies since she will lead new, single camera, comedy at Fox titled TYPE-A! It will be an office comedy about a group of consultants hand picked to do the dirty work most professionals can’t handle: lay-offs, downsizing, generally delivering horrible news. To everyone else, they’re the enemy – to one another, they’re family.

LEAH REMINI REUNITES WITH KEVIN JAMES

Meanwhile, another comedy TV star is about to reunite with her old small screen husband! Leah Remini will join Kevin James in his new sitcom KEVIN CAN WAIT at CBS, which has just been renewed for a second season together with brilliant new comedy Superior Donuts, in the final episode of the first season as a guest star. In the two part season ending (May 1st and May 8th) Kevin agrees to come out of retirement briefly to reprise his undercover assignment in an ongoing police investigation where he and fellow cop Vanessa Cellucci (Remini) will, once again, pose as husband and wife.

We're continuing our TV renewals and cancellations (The Mysteries of Laura is the latest to be killed off) weekend, people, with first photos from the freshly ordered new series!

EMERALD CITY  
First of, check out brand new photos from out most anticipated new show next season, Tarsem directed visual extravaganza EMERALD CITY NBC's modernized take on the Wizard of Oz tale. Florence Kasumba is the Wicked Witch of the East, Adria Arjona is Dorothy Gale and Oliver Jackson-Cohen is Lucas, her love interest. Joely Richardson is Glinda and Vincent D’Onofrio the Wizard of Oz.  It is set in a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy, the fabled Land of Oz in a way you’ve never seen before, where wicked witches don’t stay dead for long and a young girl becomes a headstrong warrior who holds the fate of kingdoms in her hands.

'THE GOOD PLACE' SITCOM

NBC has also ordered a whole series of new singlecamera sitcom THE GOOD PLACE! When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) has a brush with the afterlife, she realizes she hasn’t been a very good person. So she works to fix that, aided by an “afterlife mentor” played by Ted Danson.

'TIMELESS' SF SERIES

Another series to lend a series order at NBC is TIMELESS starring Matt Lanter.  In the sf series a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America by changing the past. An unexpected team: a scientist, soldier and history professor must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. Can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it’s too late?

SUDEIKIS IS 'SON OF ZORN'
Fox has ordered unusual half hour comedy series mixing live action with CGI characters SON OF ZORN with the voice of Jason Sudeikis. Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn, a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son and ex-wife while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. TV news for you this Sunday, starting with the cast round up for SyFy's new epic series VAN HELSING! Kelly Overton will lead the 13 episode drama which follows Vanessa Helsing, a descendent of the Van Helsing lineage of warriors who now must lead mankind against a world controlled by vampires in the post-Rising landscape.

Jonathan Scarfe will play Axel, a career Marine with unwavering devotion and loyalty to both duty and his wards, despite years of isolation and endless vampire attacks. Christopher Heyerdahl will play Sam, a survivor of the vampire Rising, who relies on his strength and observational skills to stay alive. David Cubitt is John, another survivor of the vampire Rising, whose actions are fuelled by anger, prejudice, suspicion and fear. Paul Johansson is Dimitri, a vampire turned before the Rising, he is now the patient and calculating leader of the vampires. Tim Guinee will play Ted, a vampire foot soldier who does battle with Vanessa and conceals a tragic past. Production starts tomorrow for Fall airing.

Meanwhile, when it comes to multi camera sitcoms, always delightful Stockard Channing is to lead NBC's new sitcom pilot ME AND MEAN MARGARET which will follow a fiercely candid and often offensive legendary actress, and the ambitious 27-year-old lawyer forced to babysit her.

NBC is also rounding up the cast for their sitcom MARLON! Loosely inspired by Marlon Wayan’s life, it centres on an inappropriate but loving father (Wayans) committed to successfully co parenting with his polar opposite ex-wife. In TV news, 'Deadline' reports  that NBC has cast Kristen Bell and Ted Danson for their new comedy series GOOD PLACE which has been ordered straight to series in 13 episodes! It centres on Eleanor (Bell, who will not be leaving HOUSE OF LIES for this), a woman from New Jersey who comes to realize that she hasn’t been a very good person. She decides to turn over a new leaf by learning what it actually means to be “good” or “bad,” and then trying to make up for her past behaviour. Danson plays Michael, who, through an unlikely set of circumstances, comes to be Eleanor’s guide through her self-designed self-improvement course.

Speaking of NBC's comedies, they've also ordered a pilot for MARLON multicamera sitcom which would star famous comedian Marlon Wayans! Loosely inspired by his life, it centres on an inappropriate but loving father (Wayans) committed to successfully co-parenting with his polar opposite ex-wife.
'POWER LESS' COMEDY
They've also ordered a pilot for POWERLESS single camera sitcom  set at one of the worst insurance companies in America — with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics. It will focus on POWERLESS folk working there who often envy the men and women outside their window who make headlines with their supernatural powers.

'MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN'

HOW TO EXPLAIN THE IMPOSSIBLE

The only trailer I have for you is the new one for Christian propaganda movie MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN out around Easter this March!  Based on the book 'Three Miracles From Heaven' by Christy Beam it revolves around a young girl suffering from a rare digestive disorder who finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident. Jennifer Garner and Martin Henderson play her parents, while Queen Latifah also features in the Patricia Riggen directed movie.
