Brilliant!
As someone who has been watching Lewis' videos for quite a while now, I must say I am pleased with his bite-sized content which has definitely helped me a ton with A Level Physics revision!

Very easy and understandable content, especially for visual learners. I've always struggled with physics, especially at A-level, and if there's ever a concept I don't understand, I can always trust Physics Online's videos to help. Besides that, there's lots of great advice and tips he gives which are very useful.

Bro do I even need to mention how this man has put back the practical learning and visualization in physics the way it is meant to be. Using legos, pictures and even real life object to explain the application of theoretical ideas to help understand it better. Physics is about life around us not scribbles a piece of paper. Thank you for you contribution to my A in physics A level.

Physics online is terrific. The videos are fantastic at making really complicated concepts make sense and the web support is always timely, prompt and polite. I recommend physics online to all my students and I use myself as a teacher to help understand topics.
Thanks for the support :-)

My experience with Physics Online has been transformative. First finding it a year ago while doing GCSE Physics (The resources were essential since I did the course in only 1 year). With the clear and concise videos, often under 5 minutes long: gave a clear insight to the topic. Now studying A-Level Physics, I'd recommend Physics Online and the resources provided on their newly updated website.

This is one of the most useful and comprehensive websites available for Physics teachers and students. Lewis is a master communicator; breaking down concepts and explaining them simply and clearly (often using Lego). The videos are superb! The website also offers mathematical help and PAG guidance which is also invaluable to students. I use his videos to help both in my teaching and to consolidate ideas/concepts for students. Well done Lewis, keep up the excellent work.

Free physics videos from someone who actually knows what they are talking about. I teach physics and these are my go-to for videos to show students as I know they will be accurate - unlike the myriad of misleading stuff online.

The resources in the website are fantastic and littered with essential advice for KS4 and KS5 physics students. It's a priority of mine as a KS5 physics leader to steer as many students towards this brilliant resource as much as I can. Keep up the great work, Lewis.

Very helpful, direct information is given and I have improved my understanding of Physics greatly because of this service.
The large number of questions that are not only given but also covered also makes this more useful than other paid sites I use.

I used this site to support my son doing A level Physics (which I did about 40 years ago…so not a complete novice). He was predicted a U and ended up with a D. Ok it’s not the highest of grades but from where he was Physics Online was a great support and made a huge positive impact. I wish something like it was around in 1981 when I took A level physics ! Thanks Lewis…tremendous videos, awesome site.

Not worth it. Explanations are subpar and parts of content are just skipped. Other resources such as Turnball Physics and Science shorts are much more helpful .PMT is very helpful as well

This man single-handedly got me through my A-level physics. My teachers were not good at all and so his simple videos were so well made and easy to follow it helped me get my A*. Beyond the videos there’s so many more resources on the site, I’ll forever be grateful for!

I’d highly recommend the premium plan - having used the GCSE one I found all of his videos explained difficult concepts in simple ways, and left me feeling enlightened and more confident! He has a great way of covering everything a student needs to know in an interesting and informal format, usually with some physics equipment and Lego on hand! Could not recommend enough that you at least watch some of his free videos over at GCSE Physics Online and try his worksheets, then decide if the Premium Plan is worth it for you - for about 200 extra videos at only £35 I think it’s really worth considering!

Very concise to his advice and outlines a lot of key exam techniques that will most certainly over time lead to an A*. I am certain I will live up to his advice for the future. May 2025, you yummy A*, here I come!

Great revision resource. Obviously not meant to teach the entire spec a teacher or textbook should be used alongside.

Only use the free Videos but they are brilliant for my Sixth Form and GCSE physics students

Goes over too little content in each video and doesn't really prepare you for exam questions. But past paper solution videos are very good.

Great range of resources available to students and teachers alike. Often a go-to when recommending students videos/ further explanations online.

Website is well organised and covers everything on the spec in sufficient detail while maintaining a concise format.
Date of experience: 15 September 2024
doesn't cover all the spec and multiple videos have errors
just good for a quick reminder
