Let me start by saying I love Harry Potter.

I took this tour with 2 friends and would recommend it as it was such a fun and informative walk around London. Going to places from the film was magical. Ryan was very knowledgeable and the use of the tablet to show the same spot in the film was so well done.

This was a fantastic tour and very good value for money. We all enjoyed this tour even my non Potter mad friends.

Please go if you get a chance so worth the money.

Everyone deserves a second change

After placing my review about my experience they settled and paid the full amount back. I hope they will use this review to update their booking information/APP to give customers a good experience.

In the end, if the customer is the most important thing in your company than you deserve at least 3 stars out of 5.

Original review:

If you have any problems what so ever with this company/tour they will do everything possible to take the money without delivering any service.

Also, "compensation" is a word they never heard about.

We booked a tour for the afternoon (last minute). There was no start time communicated. The next day early in the morning we received an email: "Sorry we already left". They did not call us, they did not take any effort to wait for us. Conclusion 200 euro's paid, did not receive a guided tour, did not receive any service or compensation and there was no possibility to reschedule this booking on a later time.

So beware!: if you book for an afternoon tour you will get an early morning tour. Be sure to be on time, even if you don't know how late to be there. Because if you are to late with their time schedule they won't wait for you neither will they call you and you won't get a refund.

We used GetYourGuide for a visit to a…

We used GetYourGuide for a visit to a home for an authentic Greek meal in Mykonos and for a private tour of Santorini. Both were reasonably priced and were better than advertised. I look forward to using GetYourGuide for future travel tours.

Plitvice lake tickets

Booked Lake Tour in Croatia for today only to find out they had glitch in the system and the tickets were not available. Money has still not been refunded

Poor experience with Paris City pass through Getyourguide

Bought Paris city passes via GetYourGuide. The site suggested you could order them for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. The pass would provide in free entry for museums and public transport. I booked passes for 3 days. It turned out that, just before booking, there was a text saying the museum part was only valid for 2 days. This was very misleading. We discovered this when we were in Paris. It kind of ruined our third day. Also the pass is hardly value for money if you cannot use the museum part for 3 days. It also turned out that at the Louvre the line for people with a pass was longer then the line for people buying a ticket. Finally a few tours were fully booked when we arrived an hour in advance conforming the instructions. Getyourguide did not this case in a proper way. I would not advise to use Getyourguide.

Hey I went to do the Harry Potter tour…

Hey I went to do the Harry Potter tour today it was really insterested about how jk Rowling came up with the idea for Harry Potter , but I felt the tour guide Monique was a bit of putting with her attitude with the tour she had I felt she was a bit sharp and quiet over confident too and she was always right too and what she was telling us was so good but could of made it a better and less of explaining about the books and so more on the tour and stop starting ,
I was quiet of putting when she made a remark about other colleagues to others memebers in the tour like talking about them , but all overall it was such a great tour .

Delicious 4-hour food and wine tour Rome

We did the 4-hour food and wine tour in Rome, with Adrian. It was really good. The stops for cheese and wine, salami and wine and car fish with wine were amazing. The stop for an appetiser was delicious and the main course (with wine) was again epic. The final stop for gelato was worth the walk back! And Adrian as a guide was on the money throughout, a great guide and worth every penny.

Tours successfully arranged

We used Get Your Guide for tours in Wroclaw, Krakow , Auschwitz and Birkenau and finally Sarajevo. We thought the tours were good value and with the app it was easy to locate meeting points.

Rip off prices for Eiffel Tower

Rip off prices for Eiffel Tower, Paris.
Guide good but not worth the charge of 3x official Eiffel Tower price and 10x for children!!!! We paid an extra £80 for family of four which is extortionate.
Also there did not appear to be any “skip the line” you still had to queue. In fact we watched the guide purchase our tickets as we waited. He even told us there was no such ticket.

We had a tour of Prague Castle

We had a tour of Prague Castle. The weather was definitely a factor which isn't anyone's fault. We went to the Castle instead of going to the meeting point and Michael and team did everything they could to get us connected with the guide which was greatly appreciated and they went the extra mile for that.

The tour was in the afternoon which added to the crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a good job of explaining everything to us.

We were forgotten at the stop for the Windsor Tour

The bus went by the designated stop as stated by GetYour Guide to Windsor. After waiting for over a half an hour, they forget to pick our family for the half day tour. It was such a wasted morning of our first day in London. We finally decided to take the local London train to Windsor and do a self tour. The issue was due to a clerical error and our names were left off the list for a pick up. We were promised a full refund. Will see if it happens. What was so irritating was I got two email confirmations prior to the day of the tour, but even so, we were still forgotten.

Don't make from your problems, mine!!!

About my comment for St Angelo's Tour in Rome. Don't make it up to me trying to scam me again with a discount. I will avoid your company how much as I can... And I don't change my mind. Make your services a good ones, inform corectly about your offer and people will love you. Till than... count your little amount obtained by stealing from naive people and pay big amount of money for make advertising...

scammed at Edinburgh castle

We booked get tour guide for Edinburgh Castle - we got there and there was no tour guide, poor instructions and we paid twice as much as the regular entrance tickets. Totally scammed! So we made the best of it - at least we got into the castle and got a tour WHICH IS INCLUDED WITH GENERAL ADMISSION!! Don’t go to Edinburgh castle with this company unless you enjoy paying twice as much for nothing!

Booked yesterday skip the line tickets…

Booked yesterday skip the line tickets for Athens acropolis and museum. Myself, wife and x6 year old daughter.

Misleading advertising at worst and unclear next steps/ poor quality digital marketing at best . Was initially impressed with app and option to download ‘ mobile tickets’ onto iPhone wallet. By the time arrived at acropolis my daughter already tired and throwing a tantrum about not wanting to walk to the top in midday heat . Only then to have ticket rejected at acropolis entrance turnstile and being sent to a small travel agent 15 minute from acropolis entrance to pick up tickets ?!!?! In other words would have been better off queuing and not having purchased the GetYourGuide ticket at all. So for this sightseeing trip (prepurchase of tickets only online only ) , the GetYourGuide offer had negative benefits unfortunately and was nothing but an additional complexity.

Etna alcantara lunch

We had a tour, etna, lunch and alcantara. Our guide was Roberto, he is a great guide with lots of knowledge about the etna, and alcantara,he has humor, we laughed a lot. The day was expensive but worth every penny...had a great day!!

Duomo Tour, Florence Italy

I booked a tour of the Duomo in Florence, Italy for May21. Martina was our guide, and she was excellent! She was funny and engaging, asking everyone in the group where we were from, and gave us recommendations on where to eat and other sites to see (even a few free spots). Martina was very knowledgeable of the church and Duomo, including details of the art we saw, the builder and the Medici family’s role in Florence. I would definitely recommend a guide by Martina for anyone I know traveling to Florence!

Amazing service

Amazing service, had booked a non refundable trip to the Vatican Museum but due to the national transport strike in Italy my whole trip was cancelled including my flights etc, after spending €70 on the tickets for our trip I was worried that we had lost out on a lot of money but with two emails they managed to sort it out and give me a full refund. Will definitely be using their service in the future

This company is just out on your money

skip the line is a Joke... we waited for almost 1,5 hour. In the mean while people in the "normal" que where at the same time inside. Also the tour promise you a maximum of 25 people.... we were in a group of 41!!! what resulted in broken communiction, when a part of the group was already to corners past in the vatican. There was no way to understand the guide even with help of the audio system. In short: I wouldn't chose this one...
