Terrible CS

Placed an order, did not add free gift with $75 purchase. By the time the chat actually answered my question I was past the 1 hr “buyers remorse” tried virtual chat and calling and no one would help. Terrible customer service and hiding things that are supposedly “free” spent hundreds for Christmas and won’t do it again.

I received a gift card as a gift from a…

I received a gift card as a gift from a past co-worker. When I went to use my gift card at an Ulta store the employee used scissors to scratch off the pin which ultimately scratched off the entire pin so it was not visible. I contacted their gift card support and the first person I was speaking too found it and said I would receive a e-gift card within 48 hours. I never received and reached out about the status... their customer service was absolutely terrible saying they couldn't find it then they couldn't do anything because it was purchased at a 3rd party seller. So I contacted Target where the gift card was purchased and they stated when the gift card is purchased it automatically transferred to Ulta and the funds are under Ulta. So Ulta lied... reached back out to them and they can see the balance of the gift card, they received pictures of the gift card and a reference # from Target regarding the situation. Then they wanted proof of purchase... well it was a GIFT I did not buy the gift card I received it as a GIFT. They refuse to do anything about it so they are basically stealing $25 from the person who purchased it. If you are going to make gift cards and have to scratch off a pin to use it they should have better quality so the pins cannot be easily ruined. What SCAMs, LIARS and thief's. Do not purchase gift cards from them they'll just keep the money for themselves. If you can pull the gift card up and see there is a balance and have proof of the actual gift card it shouldn't be impossible to get a replacement. Especially when one of their employees scratched off the pin. They lied saying only the 3rd party seller could handle it and when the first person I spoke to said I would get a e-gift card.

Ulta rewards was used due to Ulta merging family info with out consent

My sister in law and I live in the same address but different apartments. They have my information mixed up with her information. Our names are not the same and neither is our information. Furthermore, they merged us into one. We have both called Ulta and been in the store to further rectify the situation for years now. I reached out to Ulta after my sister in law cashed in on close to $50 of my rewards that these fools allowed her to do because they can’t take the time to fix it. It’s been weeks of me complaining to their CSR who says it needs to be escalated and assures me that someone is working on it. I am through with the nonsense and stupidity of numerous employees who just don’t do their job. The email has exactly who is who and you can clearly tell which order I did over my sister in law. I will NEVER go back there. I will stick with Sephora and order online with products themselves. Your loss.

Chester VAJust went to Ulta beauty store in…

Just went to Ulta beauty store in Chester VA, stood in line for over 10minutes with at least 10 customers waiting. One checkout person and even when it was suggested they call for help, nothing was done. Manager came up once with other help coming up to coach the one checkout person but NONE of them opened up another register or called for help. The manager simply helped with the checkout gal because she needed help and then walked off. Wow, what a way to run a business. But they were very active in coaching everyone to open up a charge card, another WOW.

Beware of believing the product…

Beware of believing the product description of online products. I ordered a fragrance gift box that stated it included a 3.4 oz bottle of perfume, lipstick, and mascara. When I received it, it was not as described. It contained a 1 oz bottle, not a 3.4 oz. I called customer service and got no where. First, they seemed to be unable to grasp the problem. They finally said it was being escalated and they would call me back. Never happened, they just lied to me. I spent an hour on the phone with them, what a waste of time. I feel they owe me what they described because it was purchased in good faith. Otherwise, it’s a scam, bait and switch, or fraud.

They don't believe in customer satisfaction

I have ordered online before, and while customer service sucks l always get what I ordered....until now. I ordered a $168 bottle of cologne which came with several small freebies. When I opened my box there was all the freebies but not my perfume. Three times I have called, they say they will expedite it...I hear nothing. I call again and the gal says it was finalized 24 hrs ago ( I heard nothing!) and she said the measured weight when packaged shows it was in there. So basically I lose the $168. I am a diamond shopper with Ulta....but not anymore. I am canceling my acct with them. I was treated like I was scamming them. Beware when shopping online with them! They are not willing to provide customer satisfaction. I will give my business from now on to a company who appreciates a loyal customer.

They have the worse customer service to…

They have the worse customer service to make payments over the phone. Shakira was giving me attitude over the phone saying that they charge $9 dollars to process my payment? Like really ? Why the hell do you make it so hard for people to pay their balance? I love technology but your system sucks! Not easy to make any payments! Horrible! Never buying or taking my wife to this location! Go Sephora.

Apathetic Company

Wow, Ulta has a 1.9 star rating? I thought it would be 0 based on my last experience with there customer service. Save stress by buying from drug stores or Sephora. Ulta does not care about their customers. I had an issue and had to elevate it to the manager, waisted an hour of my time and neither the manager or anyone else at this company is authorized to offer a 10% that I am owed. Did I also mention that their customer service disconnected my call twice!? This company is apathetic!

Poor

I would not even give one star…. I went to get some makeup foundation The store was filthy. I’ll test products were dirty so many items missing granted they were busy, but there was no greeting. There was no how can I help you? The employees were rude very disappointed. I’ve been shopping with Alta for such a long time and that was my first bad experience, I will not be returning. Store location Cottonwood mall Albuquerque, New Mexico. So disappointed….

Missing items

I was missing items from my order maybe taken out from bottom. First thing I did was see if it was shipped separately and it wasn’t.I been back and forward with customer service and no one will not reship my items or refund. I feel this company a spam they go from the package weight only and my package weight changed when UPS had my package in their hands. ULTA ghosted me so l don't get a response from their text and email now. They keep asking for proof which I provide but, they are not solving my problem. I had some other orders that had issue and provide photos. I feel they know they’re are shipping used, missing and damaged items as well. One of my items on a different order that was sealed in a package with no top and broken into pieces. I’m a mother I get a few items at times for myself care and at first Ulta had great deals and great experiences till now . I don’t know what else I can do to provide to this company I have not received my items to a point I’m losing sleep .I just want my items reship that is missing and they will not do that. I will not be buying from this company again after this experience. I seen on BBB others are having the same problem with this company.Update 10-25 got a email from a Guest Services Advocate and explained what was going on with my order(s). Not knowing it was 4 orders I placed a day after my first order with missing items was shipped because I definitely wouldn’t have placed them after this situation. After, I sent it I get a bogus email saying they glad to hear I had a great experience from another person . I don’t understand that I replied back that I wasn’t satisfied and I never got a response back from this morning . So , FedEx brings 4 orders from ULTA . I was hoping that all of them was fine first pack had everything, second was good next third package out of 6 items was missing 2 the free gift was there and just 3 of my ordered items .And my fourth package was fine . So , I was in shock that I had to call ULTA again over another order . So , when I called and was put on hold they automatically said it must be escalated. When she said that I knew where that was headed. This company is doing this clearly on purpose and make sure they don’t have any to do with you after. And I’m starting to think they use the free gifts as a tool for weight . I have proof that the weight change when it in the shipper hands from UPS. The people who is packing the items are doing this because they don’t care about anything. This company is a scam. And since I know law enforcement people I’m going to take this higher if they don’t ship my missing item or give me my money back .

Terrible place to get your hair done

Terrible place to get your hair done. Their slogan says, Your Best Look. Our Promise. That’s far from what you get. I asked for a certain hair color which was no where near to what I got. Four hours later my hair looked pretty much the same. Their not close to being professional as to what their sign promises you. I asked for a refund back, but they apparently don’t care about their customers satisfaction.

I WENT TO JANTZEN BEACH ULTA epic FAIL!!!!🤬
I have been wearing individual lashes for 10 years and I am transitioning to false self application lashes and they guided me in all the wrong directions… HOWEVER SARAH AT CLACKAMAS WAS SO GENTLE GIVEN THIS IS A SENSITIVE AREA FOR ME GIVEN I LOOK LIKE A NEW BORN BIRD WITH NO EYE LASHES🫣😭😭 and barely wanna go in public!!! BUT SARAH AT CLACKAMAS MALL ULTA NOT ONLY HELPED ME BUT SHOED ME EVERYTHING I NEEDED AND REASSURED ME THAT SHE SAW MY EYE LASHES GROWING BACK AND MY REGIME IS WORKING!!!!! I BOUGHT EVERY DAM THANG SHE RECOMMENDED- almost paid her rent if I could have🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Charged twice for a single item and basically told to “just deal with it.” Extremely disappointed in their customer service

I really haven’t had any complaints about this store up until tonight; however after this recent experience I will probably never buy from them again. I was just at their Orem, UT location to buy a set of press-ons and during checkout apparently their register glitched and I was made to charge my card twice. Upon checking my account I saw that I was indeed charged twice (processed all the way, not just pending) for the same item even though on their end it only went through once. I understand this may not be an issue for most people but I am on vacation currently and do not have the extra funds to have my card charged double what the item was worth. When I asked about what I could do they were extremely unhelpful and basically told me to just deal with it until I can call my bank and dispute the extra charge, which is two days from now as banks are closed on Sundays. I understand that electronics do glitch sometimes and this occurrence is not totally their fault, but I did not appreciate how unhelpful the staff was and their response towards it was very apathetic and frustrating. While I know that realistically there isn’t much they could have done because in their system my card was only charged once, I am still left to deal with the double charge and sit with my account lower than it should be simply because their system messed up; knowing now that this is a risk that they said occurred rather often I will most likely never buy from them again; I don’t want to have to go in and wonder if my card will be charged twice for no reason. This is a rather large inconvenience for me and being on vacation I really am upset that I now have to deal with the stress of this when I have been trying my hardest to relax. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the customer service, even though the nails are cute. I didn’t expect to be refunded or anything of that sort, knowing that on their end it only went through once, but for the inconvenience and stress this is causing me I would at least like to warn people that they said this happens rather often, and I will be avoiding shopping there from now on.

I do not like to give out personal…m

I do not like to give out personal information…I was bullied by the check out person to give my phone number or someone else’s. (What? I’m not giving out my personal information…certainly not giving someone else’s).
I was told I could not return the items if I did not give my phone number. I told her I just wanted to purchase the items and go home. She said her company required a phone number if I wanted to return the item…I said I would use the receipt. Evidently that is not good enough for a return as items could not be returned without a phone number.

Why would they encourage their employees to bully someone for not giving our personal information…AND SHE WAS BULLYING! They must sell my information and I am the product…not the silly fingernail polish I was trying to buy. This company is shameful.

Hello,

Ulta customer service is the worst!
Stole my hard earned money! 

Refusing to resend or refund my account for 3 items missing from my order!
As soon as I opened my package I called Ulta customer service & the lady promised my issue will be taken care of! 
3 days later supervisor emailed me that Ulta weighs packages before shipping & because of that their distribution department supposedly shipped everything out.

I have pictures of what I received but they won’t refund my money or reship items

Then she helped me until I found what I was looking for.

July 20th I ordered online

July 20th I ordered online, it said it arrived July 24th. I have a front door camera and I work from home. Never did the package arrive. I quickly got on the phone with customer service which has been nothing but a nightmare. I provided photos of my front and back door. Showing that "proof of delivery" is not even the same layout, wrong color of building. No sending of my products, or refund, NOTHING and I am a platinum member with Ulta. Sephora is looking a lot better to deal with. ZERO stars, DO NOT BUY FROM ULTA.
