Jen McGrath on Instagram: "Ballerina spin tips. No 2 ! How to train on the pole. 🙋🏽‍♀️ These are the movements I train and teach before doing ballerina spin. You may need to repeat these movements over several weeks before your body is ready for the full move. I recommend having a strong chair spin and pirouette spin before attempting this spin. I do between 4-8 of each movement. You can hold at the top if it feels comfortable. I perform the spin in the first part of the reel on spin but recommend static for the movements after. Give these a save if this is on your goal list. 🤩 Studio - @thefitnesshangout Wearing - @olraactivewear %code - JENM10 #ballerinaspin #pdballerinaspin #pdadvancedspin #polespin #spinpole" Ballerina Spin, Goal List, How To Train, Pole Dance, Pole Dancing, No. 2, Spinning, Train, Instagram

The pirouette is a basic move taught in the second pole class in my studio and is used and reused all the time. However, I've found it to be very difficult from a coordinative point of view for many pole dancers, including advanced ones. When I am doing workshops, it is the first thing I like to see…
