How does the game fit the theme?
It's a joke on that theme. I had the idea that we could 'risk' the IT department.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Cool idea. Nicely put together. I found 3 endings I think. It's supposed to be very short right?
It seemed to me all the emails were spam, did I just misplay it or is it supposed to be quite short and more about finding the endings?
Really cool idea! Maybe make the words appear faster?
Thanks!
At the bottom is a game speed slider, you can speed the game up by a maximum of 5 times. :)
The game is super fun to play, with a really creative vibe. The design and atmosphere are both really well done, and I love the attention to details.
Very clever interpretation of the theme. The game’s very short but that’s okay. I think if it wasn’t presented as such a relatively solvable and short puzzle it could’ve really grabbed me. But it’s not bad at all and a short, sweet complete experience :)
It's a really interesting idea, I don't remember any similar games! I actually lost stupidly several times by giving a false report...
I loved the ambient based on just office background noise :D
Sadly, we did not manage to make it there by ourselves. We wanted to, but we didn't have enough time.
good choice anyway, at least you had the vision to include that background noise and not other.
The game is truly creative and enjoyable to play. The design and atmosphere are also well-done. Nice work!!
Thank you very much! There were plans for a custom browser and some new features, but I've run out of time and need to reduce the scope of the game.
Great take on the theme! Really nice visuals too.
I like that there's actually a decent amount of clues about which email is the right one, and it becomes even more apparent once you get a bad ending. I'm sure a lot of similar narrative games would make it effectively random or blatantly obvious, so nice work getting the balance right.
I'd love to see a longer game in this style, like maybe something where you have to coax more information from each potential scammer without sharing your own info to see if it's actually a scam.
There were plans, but there wasn't enough time, so I had to be tough on myself and cut it down. My focus was on creating a small, polished game.
Thanks for your idea though, communicating with a scammer could be the basis for a cool game. "Kitboga the game"!
Nice one. I love the visuals and all the atmosphere. The menu and the sounds really contributed for the immersion part.
Thank you very much! The idea for the credits plus menu came about spontaneously.
Very creative take on the theme. And the implementation is very polished. I had some fun discovering all the endings. Great work!
I would have loved more endings, but my code is a mess. :D
Very polished and clever little narrative game! Loved the concept, no bugs, and all the effects felt juicy great job!
Thank you very much!
Reported IT and got fired for it! They were spamming me every time I made a report :D
I'm not a super big fan of narrative games, but yours was really engaging! Great execution. Loved the replies. I had a lot of fun discovering all the endings. And the IT take on the theme is very clever!
btw beschwerdemanagement :D
Surely this is spam and not an accident. It is totally clear there are some German spam artists or something like this. Everybody knows about ze German spam artists!
Great game you have! Thanks for your review and for showing me your cool game!
Really nice concept! Visuals are on point. Narrative games deserves better hehe. Would love to see more about this in the future :) Great work!
Thank you very much!
We loved your game!
I love narrative games so I was taken aback by the clean execution and original idea, especially for a first time, 10/10 rated, well done!
Thank you very much! I will test yours now, the screenshots look very interesting!
WOW, the game idea is too original, I loved. The game was also fun to play and the visuals were unique.
Thank you very much!
Some YouTubers should play this game. Also, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try giving someone my Ares and number, but apparently it does :(
😅
Wow I love the theme of this! Good thing I'm not in cybersecurity because I kept getting fired.. but seriously, really cool game.
Thank you very much! I'm quite proud of my interpretation of the theme! :D
I liked your game too, and I really think a multiplayer mode would be great!
MOMMM I AM RICHHHHH :)))))) 10/10
i really enjoyed the game, it was a fun take on the theme. i do wish there was an option to skip the first part cuz i wanted to play again and had to go through it again (Not a big deal but more qol thing XD)
There is a game speed slider at the bottom. Because of the 20 second intro, you can speed it up five times the normal speed. :)
Great to hear that you liked it!
I'll review yours later!
oooh i didint know it affected the intro, coool :D
Yes! :)
It is just a build in Godot Variable and has a value from 0.2 to 5.0 on my slider
A very unique take on the theme. The visuals were a great fit and I loved the game speed option so I could explore other endings quicker. I really liked it and for a week it's a pretty solid game. Well done!
Thank you very much!
The game speed slider was actually very easy to implement and totally a QoL thing!
