How does your game fit the theme?
In two ways - you control a looping orbit and the game itself is a distinct loop of collection and growth.

Really nice game. Music is nice and compliments the gameplay nicely and theres a nice progression with the larger balls. Gets pretty difficult once you get to the really large ones.
It is just the one system pretty much but thats fine for it being a jam game. Just if you want to continue post jam youll probably have to expand it out
amazing graphics and it very polished.
If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too?
Slick graphics! Felt polished yet oddly stressful.
Great job!
Great game! Very well polished! I really like the planets' movement and collision responses :)
Nice game! The idea is nice, it is quite intuitive to pick up, and the art/audio is nice as well! Feels really polished.
It just misses a little oomph for me, maybe the fact that your reset to level ? I could not get passed level 3 and it went from fun to frustrating. Maybe a mechanic to push some planet away? Or just resetting on the same level? I am not sure, but it's that little something missing to make me want to come back to it.
But on the positive not, it looks really really good, I am really impressed! Great work :)
Very nice small game, I was actually impressed by how deep the strategy goes with how incredibly simple the concept and gameplay is. That being said, it is, in fact, a very simple game that could have used some extra added depth maybe in the form of upgrades or special types of planets that function differently, could've given it some extra staying power. Presentation-wise it looks and sounds fantastic, really hits old-school flashgame vibes
Visually striking game and extremely rewarding and satisfying!
very similar to my game idea. but your execution is much better. i wanted to at katamari merge too. i ran out of time and had to submit a buggy version. oh well. nice job
That was fun, u can get rekt pretty quick if u are not careful though, very nice!
fun cosy game, enjoyed sucking up planets to become star systems, very relaxing. visually very nice, and the music was very calming. great work!
If there was more content I couldve stayed playing it for soo much longer, loved the wrt work felt cozy to play !
hey this is incredible! A good challenge and great assets. Nice work.
Love the art, and the audio is relaxing. Would love to see more escalation or challenging moving past Level 4 though, but it's a nice concept to start!
Really cool game! I think the concept felt pretty original, but intuitive as soon as I started playing :) . I think the idea of being a kind-of-evilish alien being that sucks up planets is fun.
I like that the game is built around a simple but really fun core concept, and the mechanics all feel intuitive with the set dressing of the alien planet-sucking orbits. I could feel myself picking up some handy strats the more I played. Also, the music was really nice especially on level 3 (I couldn’t get farther), and I liked how colorful and different the planet styles were!
My biggest complaint is that I reset to level 1 when I die :( . I died at level 3 three times, so I felt too demoralized to try again lol. Maybe a lives system would be good so you can try the same level again a few times before resetting back to 1.
Impressive! The graphics are great and so are the sound effects. I enjoyed collecting as many little planets as I could. Well done!
Space Katamari! This was a whole lot of fun, the rotation of the ship(?) adds a layer of complexity to targeting planets that's surprisingly challenging, especially once the screen has a few planets in play and you're having to be careful about unwanted collisions.
Art direction is really strong, with planets looking great and plenty of life to the nebula in the background :)
Music is a perfect fit, working really well with the sci-fi theme. The visuals and sfx for planet assimilation are great together too
Very interesting concept.
The attraction area of the planet seems a bit larger than the visual. It feels like those planets want to kill me.
Moving around and aiming for a specific planet is super trippy, I love it! By the time you get there, the hole you wanted for the planet is already somewhere else and you need to readjust and avoid bumping into anything
That's a really cool concept and it feels great!
One of the best games of the game jam until now. Really simple to understand, but feels great.
Beautiful game and well executed! Reminds me of Katamari
BTW I would add an indication of how close you are to the end of the level, right now it's not to clear and that can get frustrating
It can be a bit unclear sometimes. The bar at the top shows how full your orbit is.
