A quick look at your page suggests you have characters that are designed to look very young. Our staff considers intent when reviewing a page, so just because you write a disclaimer “This character is of legal age” does not make you immune to our moderation policies around adult content.

Our Patreon integration is designed for granting ownership to project pages. It does not support granting ownership to a single file. If you just want to give someone access to a file, then feel free to just upload it to Patreon. Can you tell them a bit more about your itch.io/Patreon use-case?

Can you explain a bit more? Is this an error in the app or somewhere else?

The app currently doesn’t play well with very large bundles that use “deferred download keys”. Essentially, you need to navigate to your download page on the website before it creates the record so the app can identify it correctly. Otherwise, the app may show a mismatch on its installation bar. The next version of the app should address some of these quirks.

We don’t allow hosting content that includes sexualized images or videos of real-life humans. Fictional, illustrated, and rendered content is generally fine, assuming it’s legal. AI-generated imagery that is designed to resemble photographic content of real people is not allowed. Content glorifying sexual violence is not permitted. Depictions of minors, minor-presenting, or suggested minors in a sexual context are not allowed and will result in account suspension.

Your tax information only is validated once you create your first payout. Pretty sure this is spelled out on the tax identity page. Did you not see that information?

There’s no reason that the app shouldn’t work on Windows 10. If the updater isn’t working then I recommend trying to fully uninstall whatever you currently have, then do a fresh install by downloading from https://itch.io/app

Based on what you’re saying it sounds like you’re stuck on an old version of the app. Please make sure you are on the most recent version before posting any issues. As of this post, it’s version v26.9.0.

Edit I checked API key logs for your account and it looks like the last version of the app you connected to the site with was 26.1.9, which is a 2 year old version of the app. Please update!

windows defender being unable to recognize your app as safe

Do you have any third party security software installed? We’re not aware of any issues with Windows Defender reporting the app or any of its components as malicious.

‘broth’ is still not flagged as safe.

What do you mean by this, can you share a screenshot? broth (aka broth.itch.zone) is our domain for a service where we host the app’s update files, it’s not a piece of software that goes on your computer. Do you have some kind of firewall rule setup or something?

cloudfare loops

We’re not aware of any outstanding issues with cloudflare loops on the most recent version of the app. It’s possible that you may encounter the cloudflare anti-bot check within the app, and you will need to complete it, but it will not get stuck asking you in a loop

I believe you have the “Disable new downloads & purchases” option enabled which disables all downloads to files

Your tax information looks validated on my end, perhaps you recently updated the form?

I don’t see any open payouts on your account.

As a reminder, your tax information is only validated after open your first payout request. We do not pre-validate accounts, since it incurs a fee to do a validation. (We would be spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on accounts that never earn anything)

We do not put any “holds” on your account while you tax information is on file. You can start operating your account after you fill out the form
