Hello, I'm looking for help in regard to the linked itch and Patreon system. I've recently switched the offerings on my Patreon to require the link to itch.io; however; I am getting reports from my members that:

1. If they have canceled their renewal prior to getting access to their games (with the sub still in the active time frame), they are not granted access.

2. When they are gifted a sub, they are also not granted access.

I have searched all over for a solution for this that won't require that I grant them individual keys and then need to track them manually in order to revoke them when the sub runs out. I have only been able to find older reports of this problem, but can't find any follow-up. Should I send a ticket, is there a solution that I am just not finding, or even something as simple as a setting that I've missed?

You can to a point! Once you reach a scene where there's a lock-in event, you must choose definitively for that RO. Once locked in, you will not be able to romance the others.

There is. That choice dictates a lot of the interactions with the ROs (and sometimes how other ROs respond to each other). Zahn for example will only engage physically if the MC is a friend, romantic, or physically attracted to them. The RO actions and dialogue with MC will take on different tones if MC feels romantic towards them.

I'm so sorry about your shoulder too! Also ironically, while writing that chapter, something went wrong with my own shoulder too! I just finished therapy and such and it's a lot better but I couldn't move it much at all for nearly a year.

I agree, all we need is a misfit group to make everything better. ^_^

It's a solid name for a cat! Nathanael's Shadow is a memorial for my own Shadow kitty who I lost suddenly while writing the beginning of this story. He was nestled at my side while I wrote the first 2 chapters. :3

**If you do the "Playful" MC and want General Lyon to take you back to your quarters after breakfast, you need to select Viper. I goofed and coded the path incorrectly!

It's a catch 22 in a way. Like, it really is good, but there's a price. Yet, it may be one your MC pays very willingly for such a family. Just depends on how they feel. :3

I am a huge sucker for found family. This one would definitely have the element as well, but would have a darker twist to it, and maybe some of that "family" isn't the best either, so I can play with dynamics a good bit. Especially learning how your boss got her nickname. :3

This one would have a few things going on with the plot. I'd want to do more backgrounds for the MC so it would play a larger role as they try to find peace or resolution with whatever happened. Then there's Roz's "plans." That would still need to be fleshed out, but it's a bit bigger than a gang war, though that is a basic part of it. Whatever job the MC picks would dictate their role in any part of building this "empire." Like, as an example, the sex work isn't just sex work - it's intel, infiltration, a lure. I'd want to have a balance in the plotlines because I like my MCs to have a central focus, I don't want them to feel like a side character.

The Howl would be particularly large, and may take the most planning out of any of the projects unless I severely limited the jobs and backgrounds. I'd rather be able to provide a variety, it would just take a lot of time to plan. 

Doc Blue was fun to write as well, I'd like to do more with them! The sex work field would be...probably the most exciting and involved just with the nature of it, lol.

I'm thrilled you enjoyed! It was fun to write, and I'd like to touch more on the horror aspect as the MC realizes what's all happened. :3

You know me, I am ever the sucker for found-family. Even when your family has scales and maybe tentacles. It would be quite the adventure for sure! :D

That one really hit for me even when I wrote it. As much as I put the MC through the ringer, it hurts me, lol. I think a lot of people get the feeling or are even told that they ruined this or that or did something wrong just by being brought into the world. But it's never the case, it can just be hard to make peace with that. <3 I'm glad that resonated with you, dear. ^_^

The romance and friendship were things I really wanted to explore wholly because I also feel some lacking when I read. Everyone becoming this found family either way is what I want to see. I do plan for more flavortext in the final game if you actually play the whole game with the name Noodles. Right now, there's only a few tidbits though.

Yeah, it's whatever came with the template and I need to take a good hard look at it. I've seen the same issue in other IFs that used the same template, but some of them have fixed it, so I'm sure I can figure it out if I focus. (the focus and the time are in short supply, lol)
