This was so cool, I liked everything: visuals, cute story, upgrade/risk system, etc. Only the text system was a bit lacking but overall game is great!

Enemies breaking the environment is such a cool concept, good job!

Cool concept, it was just too hard for me due to the cat, still great game tho

This was so good, I spent like 30 minutes, quit at level 4, but I would play this if it was a full game

I loved everything, from visual to gameplay, however, my only criticism is about how you handle the "levels", I wish it kinda "zoomed in" as you go, loading up a new screen each level feels kinda bad, still a extremely good game though

I really liked the concept, I think you should add more mechanics and design levels around it and you'll make a great game!

I love typing games and this is great, but I wish there was some sort of a timer/scoring system.

I wish you could've finished it completely because I liked the animations

I really loved the visuals and having to pick between daily actions, I had a hard time with platforming but mechanics were great (looking down, falling blocks, etc.)

artwork was trippy as hell (in a good way!), I liked the premise but I wish you could use buttons instead of the mouse for options, still great tho 

this was so fun, I've never seen the idea where you had to bet on the score like this, extra ratings for pico8 :)

thank you! you actually get energy depending on the time you get close (I believe it generates every 0.05 seconds), but I agree that using distance would be cool.

I initially planned to add an action where you shoot wisps to the nearest enemy, but since I didn't add any enemies other than projectiles I scrapped the idea, currently they only act as barriers, which they block energy generation as you mentioned.

thank you! the bar's sole purpose is to generate wisps, but I agree that wisps don't provide any meaning. I actually had a scoring system and a boss which you would defeat with the wisps in my mind, but had no time lol

yes, I kinda combined parallax and the mist trail for no reason other than combining them, removing one of them would be better

Such a cool idea, I loved everything, gameplay, visuals, etc. I've seen so few games respecting the theme and this is one of them.
