Why you can give it everything

A spam filter is only as good as what it is allowed to see. Nothing but your own mail can teach it that you read this newsletter every week, that this stranger is a real customer, or that this colleague must never land in Junk. That is where false positives come from: a filter deciding about people it knows nothing about. So Klar Plus asks for all of it.

That is not something you should hand to an AI assistant. Assistants send what they read to a server, and a model that can write can quote back what it read. Klar Plus does neither. It does not write, chat, or answer questions. It reads a message and returns one thing: a score for how likely it is to be spam. A model that can only score has no way to repeat what it read. It runs on your Mac, what it learns is a file that stays on your Mac, and no message, subject, or address is sent anywhere.

Klar Plus does use the network, for a licence check and model updates. Neither one carries your mail. The full list is on the local-first page.
