Magdalonie Paris-Campbell is a results-oriented external affairs leader who has been driving community engagement initiatives and supporting strategic public policy for more than 15 years. From corporate communications to media relations, Paris-Campbell has an unparalleled work ethic and a demonstrated track record of building trust with stakeholders and influencing legislative outcomes.

Currently serving as the director of external and legislative affairs for AT&T Services, Paris-Campbell supports the Atlantic Region public safety solutions, manages all external affairs activities on Long Island, including working with local governments, and enhances AT&T’s presence within the various Long Island communities.

Prior to this role, she served as the Long Island regional director for U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, district director for state Sen. Todd Kaminsky and chief of staff for state Sen. Ada L. Smith. She even led campaign efforts for Sen. Gillibrand’s presidential run in 2020. Paris-Campbell’s significant impact on the community has spanned regional issues affecting the environment, economic development, foreign affairs, immigration, military, healthcare, agriculture, telecommunications, technology and education.

In addition to her professional experiences, Paris-Campbell holds a master’s degree in social work enterprise administration from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is a founding member of Long Island’s first AfroFest, and her service on boards for the United Way of Long Island, Long Island Association, Vision Long Island and the Long Island Software & Technology Network has helped her establish credibility with constituents, elected officials and key decisionmakers.
