Terry Ganer serves as managing partner of the New York City region and the remote team for The Bonadio Group, a top 50 U.S. accounting firm. In this role, Ganer’s primary objective is to uphold and promote the firm’s culture and oversee community and regional client activities. He works with the regional firm leaders to assist in people matters. This includes ensuring active participation by all employees in mentoring programs and ensuring that regional partners participate in firmwide, regional office and partner unit culture activities.

Ganer, a certified public accountant, prides himself on the client relationships he has grown and strengthened over the last 16 years. When he first became an accountant, he created a client base by convincing his friends to allow him to do their tax returns. Today, while he still does all of their returns, he has significantly expanded his portfolio with expertise in technology startups, cryptocurrency, entertainment and individual tax preparation. Additionally, Ganer leads The Bonadio Group’s digital asset practice.

A graduate of the University of Vermont, Ganer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ganer’s personal interests include seeing live music (name a U.S. city, and chances are he has seen a concert there). He also enjoys going on hikes with his wife, Stephanie, son, Wyatt, daughter, Marlowe and dog, Norman.
