Biography

[edit]

In February 2022 at Maesuma Offline, his first offline tournament outside of locals, he finished 2nd by beating Raito, Kome, Hero, Yaura, and Shuton before losing the Grand Finals Reset to the latter. Three months later, he attended his first major, MaesumaTOP#7, where he defeated Tsumusuto, Paseriman, Jogibu, Hero, Tea, Yoshidora, and Shuton twice to win the tournament, having been defeated only by Yoshidora in Winners Semifinals; this made him the first player to win a major with Steve. Only four days later, he would win his first premier, Kagaribi#7. The following June, he took part in the Gimvitational, his third major and first North American major, winning once again, making him the second Japanese player to win his first North American tournament, the first being Otori at Apex 2012.
