Tera was a tournament held in France on September 1-3, 2023. It featured singles, doubles and squad strike events for Ultimate.
It is the biggest Smash tournament in European history to date, featuring several top players from other territories performing in Europe for the first time, including Yoshidora from Japan, Sparg0 from Mexico, and Zomba from the United States; it was the first time Americans Light and Tweek and Japanese player Jogibu competed outside their respective continents altogether.
French player Glutonny's win made him the first European to win a premier Ultimate tournament on their own continent, while big chungus's 7th place made him the first player from Sweden to reach Top 8 of an Ultimate major. Morocco's Raarchyor also placed 4th in doubles alongside French player Nitox, marking the first time in the history of any Smash game that a player from Africa reached Top 8 of singles or doubles in a major.
